Hi, the first post in October is my new toy ‘Kodak Zi8‘, a pocket DV cam for my personal project!!
Full HD 1080p, impressive image quality, HDMI output and a port for an optional stereo microphone (the most important part for me ;))
Its low-light performance, in particular, is striking at this price point and the convenience of plugging the Zi8 directly into my iMac and dragging a neat series of clips across, ready to be edited in iMovie ’08 and later. I like the design, so light and so easy to hold in my hands (available in raspberry, black and aqua).
