School holiday again….a Japanese animated film that I suggest to all moms, dads & kids…宫崎骏 (Hayao Miyazaki) 作品 [熊猫家族] ‘Panda kopanda‘. Funny, lovely, touching….kids and parents laughing in the cinema.
While we were sitting down and waiting for the film, a kid was quarrelling with another kid in front of us. The film was 15 minutes late, kids became impatient, parents kept looking at their watches.
‘Why did we come here, mom? There’s nothing on the screen…’
‘Be patient, look, it’s coming….’
The light was off, the music, the panda papa, the little panda and the little girl ‘Mimiko’ finally showed up. Quiet, no fight, no stress, no complain… An 80 minutes cartoon (for 3 years old kids) made everybody laugh together in one room, it was a beautiful thing ! This 5€50 (each) was worth to spend.     shazy

A Hong Kong brand ‘IZZUE‘ (I.T Group, H.K.) enters the french fashion market. The most famus french department store, Galeries Lafayette, presenting the young collection between 18 to 30 years old.
I am proud of my hometown, HK fashion in France, this is very impressive!

PS: To make it 100% ‘Hong Kong’, Izzue should use H.K. models for their advertising.     Shazy

L: Fritz Junior Jacquet. Lamp « Coralys », the idea of Japanese art -origami, folding a paper without glue and frame.
R: Cédric Tomissi. Lamp « Curiosité »,  silk paper, the creases of the paper make different forms of the light.

L: Elodie Tanguy. Lamp « Serpent à tête lumineuse », translucent flowerpot, evoking the light of nature.
R: Avril de Pastre. Lamp « Moustic », the mastic gun transformed to a lighting bird.

L: Benjamin Fely. Floor Lamp « enrouleur », lamp in black, multi-adaptor as base of the lamp.
R: Céline Andrieu.  « Sculptée de Papier », lamp carved entirely by paper, diffusing soft light to create an intimate atmosphere.

L: Aurélie Alonso. « D-Clean », idea of using shower head, water jet transforms to a stream of light .Chrome metal, lighting with 3 LED lamps.
R: Olivier Garraud. «Lustre Baladeuse », idea inspired by the Building and Industry univers. Created by long cable handlamps of building site.

L: Alexandra Theunissen. « Ambiance Nature », 100% ecology, consumes Solar Energy. Ideal for your garden.
R: Estelle Griffe et Yuan Tian. « Déjà lu »,after reading our magazines, we can recycle them to a lamp. Folding the pages in different forms, how interesting!

In a city of Pondicherry – India, ‘Dune village Eco Beach hotel’ (Dune Hotel) is located on a beach of South-East India. A French designer ‘Dimitri Klein‘ and 2 local artistes ‘Michel & Carole Arnay-Goddet’ decorated one of the  dwelling of  in an Indian Bollywood Style with explosive colours & tranditional funitures. They used year 70s Bollywood film posters as wallpaper, painted in Pop Art colours (red, green, yellow, blue), named as ‘Pop House’.     Shazy
